
How many times have you been sitting at home or in a car when a good song comes on, and you just have to pretend to strum along with the guitar player? A radio station in Glasglow used this idea to its advantage when it advertised itself by “giving away” air guitars.
When it comes to guerrilla marketing, I can not think of a better way to not spend money - aside from the poster, I suppose. If the station wanted to go the extra mile for its rockin’ music fans, it could always give away some promotional music download cards.
