LUX Super Smooth Shower Foam (Smooth as Ice)



LUX Shower Foam created a great guerrilla promotion in Beijing using an ice-skating rink to compare the "smoothness" of their product. LUX projected a huge picture of a woman's back onto the ice to make people feel as though they were skating on her skin. LUX used the ice as way to inform consumers about its selling point of super smooth skin as a result of the gel. Surveys were taken concluding that the promotion was successful and that up-to 98% skaters and passers-by have a very strong memory of the product selling points.

The projection of the womans back on the ice was very large, cleverly placed and certainly attracted attention. Promotional stickers and decals can be used the same way when put up in the right place with a clever message. These large decals and stickers are great for attracting attention in the most unusual of places. This was a great promotion for bath and body products.
