Anyone Can Decorate the White House

In honor of President Obama moving into the White House, IKEA put together a great guerrilla marketing campaign online. Customers can go to embracechange09.com and furnish the oval office, however they see fit, with IKEA's furniture. They even set up a life sized version of the website in a DC metro station. Not only do these campaigns reflect creativity and originality but the hands on experience definitely helps warrant a more positive reaction then visual campaigns. I wonder if IKEA handed out promotional magazines in DC?

OREO, Milk's Favorite Cookie

OREO had this guerrilla marketing campaign, in which every time the elevator reached the bottom floor, a huge Oreo got dunked into a huge glass of milk. This was so effective that half way through the video you see some guy actually rub his stomach, in what I can only assume, is anticipation of all the OREO's he is about to go indulge in. I know it really makes me want some.

Humane Society Promotes Pet Adoption

With foreclosures happening more and more frequently across the nation, not only are people losing their belongings and homes, but many are losing their pets as well. This guerrilla marketing promotion from the Humane Society helped raise awareness about pet adoption in North Carolina. Even though the thought of families having to give up their pets is upsetting, hopefully some good came from these signs.

Winter Music Festival Guerrilla Marketing

(via: Kelly Asher)

These bikini-clad girls marketed the 24th annual Winter Music Festival down in South Beach, Florida. The WMF takes place at the end of March down in beautiful Miami, Florida. DJs and top entertainment professionals from around the world come together to spin mixes during the 2 day event. Even though it is one of the most widely known events for artists, there really is no better way to spread the word then through hot girls in bikinis. No wonder the Festival is going on its 24th year.
